The Outside Services Attendant delivers outstanding customer service to members and guests, supporting golf operations by handling bags, carts, range operations, and maintaining clean work areas. The attendant stages and stores golf carts, ensures carts are functional and ready, and provides a seamless golf experience.

Reports to the Supervisor Outside Services.

• Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, answering questions, and offering golf course etiquette suggestions.
• Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member/guest experience.
• Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, and ensure carts are clean, well‑maintained, and inspected for damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, and external spaces such as the parking lot and pro shop entrance.
• Set up and manage practice areas, stocking equipment such as range balls.
• Collaborate with range attendants, marshals, and starters to ensure seamless, efficient service.
• Complete daily assignments in designated areas, maintaining work areas, and keeping the Golf Shop organized and stocked.

• Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and encourage others to do the same.
• Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications.
• Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams.
• Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.

• Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, lift, and carry up to 100 lbs., talk, hear, and see.

• Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
• Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays.
