Scope of WorkAs a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You’ll be responsible for using the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, you’ll be a vital member of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Qualifications- Required Associate's Degree or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent.
- Required Bachelor's Degree: B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD. If not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one year of experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure date and complete within five years (effective April 18, 2023).
- Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Specialty Certification – 2 years required (as specified).
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – Upon Hire required (AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation options).
- CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Upon Hire required (AHA).
- CRT-Trauma/Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – 1 year required.
- CRT-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – 1 year required or alternative.
- CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – 1 year required.
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – 180 days required.
- CRT-Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) – 1 year or as specified.
- CRT-NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) – 90 days required.
