Admission Coordinator – Full‑Time Night Shift – Metropolitan Behavioral Health (UHS Facility)

A growing, 144‑bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults, and older adults, and performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are also offered. The facility has a robust outpatient program utilizing group, family, and individual therapy.

The Admission Coordinator is responsible for answering the main doors and the hospital’s multi‑line phone, verifying patient insurances, obtaining signatures on admitting paperwork, patient registration, and processing all admission forms. The reception team interfaces with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience verifying insurance required
• 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, front‑desk clerk, or in a related hospital department required
• Multi‑line phone and computer skills required
• Professional, customer‑service focused individual with strong communication skills, ability to multi‑task, and critical‑thinking skills

This in‑person role works 12‑hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be scheduled on a rotation basis.
