Join our team at Allegria Village, where compassionate care and excellence come together. We are currently seeking a dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. This flexible, as-needed position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about helping residents achieve their highest level of function and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following established plans of care
- Assist in the implementation and modification of treatment plans to promote optimal functional outcomes
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of care and treatment provided
- Adhere to all facility policies, including quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment and contribute to patient satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in good standing
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Previous SNF experience preferred
- Understanding of applicable state, federal, and professional standards
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a strong sense of empathy
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Positive and professional demeanor

Frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, crouching, stooping, bending, and stretching
