Role Description
Charge-X USA is seeking a Michigan-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong electrical engineering background to prepare, revise, and stamp construction drawings for EV charging infrastructure projects & will be available in person at Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127.
This role focuses specifically on producing accurate engineering plans based on site information provided by our Project Managers. The engineer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, revising, and sealing required electrical drawings including CD-30 and CD-100 plans.
Core Responsibilities (Explicit Requirements)
The Professional Engineer must be able to:
- Prepare CD-30 drawings
- Prepare CD-100 drawings
- Produce single-line diagrams and electrical load calculations
- Stamp and seal all engineering drawings
- Make revisions and updates to drawings as needed
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Maintain strong electrical design accuracy
- Coordinate directly with internal Project Managers to obtain correct site plans and details
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in electrical engineering, design review, and project management
- Familiarity with permitting processes, construction oversight, and safety compliance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, or similar tools
- Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage projects within deadlines and budgets
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
