As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world‑class, state‑of‑the‑art smart vehicles we're known for. We’re seeking a diligent, detail‑driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our manufacturing process engineering activities. We’re looking to optimize our efforts in safety, quality, and productivity. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to advance continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years' Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience
3+ years' experience w/tooling, processes, and facilities
3+ years' CAD experience
Experience with electrical systems
Plant related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Solid understanding of statistics (control charts, data collecting, etc.)
Knowledge of the electrical systems in a vehicle
Experience with electrical connectors and wire routing
Knowledge in one or more of the following Ford software systems: AVBOM, WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter, AIM, CPARS
Experience in one or more of the following:
Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Water test, End of LineError proofing experience
Demonstrated product launch experience and issue resolution capability.
Strong Problem-solving skills
Ability to work well with cross functional teams to develop consensus.
Proven experience in manufacturing, including CAD design and tooling design.
Previous project management experience.
Prototype design and development experience.
Experience working with Tier 1
OEM Suppliers and partnersManufacturing experience in general or final assembly
