Client is seeking an experienced Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and release of switch components utilized throughout the vehicle. The role will interface with several functional areas to ensure the switch component performs to customer expectations and requirements, providing a unique and challenging design & release experience that combines electrical, mechanical, styling, software, and vehicle-level system performance.

• Previous experience related to the product development of switches or other electrical/electronic components for automotive applications.

• Program / Project Management – Experience managing a project from inception to launch.
• Analytical skills – Applying analytical disciplines in the product development process to generate applicable solutions.
• Leadership / Communications – Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with various levels of team members (engineering, management) from 1:1 to larger audiences.

• Previous experience related to the development of switches or other electrical/electronic components for automotive applications.
• Experience in Design and Release project engineering; 3+ years of experience related to the development of electromechanical components.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision; self‑starter.
• Past experience working within a large, diverse cross‑functional team.
• Program/Project and supplier management and negotiation experience.

• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).

• MS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).
