- Lead Critical Supplier Process to drive Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance improvement.
- Participate in whiteboard reviews and assigned sub‑system VRT (Variability Reduction Team) meetings; drive resolution of external supplier process –1
MIS and 0
MIS warranty concerns. - Support QR procedures by binning concerns, reviewing threshold QRs, and assisting the Incoming Quality (IQ) department with non‑responsive suppliers. Assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data accuracy.
- Coordinate part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure.
- Lead containment of special‑cause supplier process –1
MIS and 0
MIS BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects. - Align with VRT on Supplier Process (SP) BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.
- Provide early notification and engage the STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments related to supplier process (SP).
- Support containment of supplier Stop Ship issues; assist the STA team with vehicle On‑Hold and Release process tracking.
- Work with Stop Ship stakeholders to support accurate root cause for Prevent Action Closure (PAC) process reporting.
- Monitor daily production report (DPR) and notify STA management of issues requiring site awareness/intervention.
- Act as direct Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) resident supplier representative and liaison between STA and plant management; support daily plant quality meetings to report on containment of SP ECB (Early Concern Binning) issues; participate in VRT forums; lead supplier preparation for VQRs (Vehicle Quality Review).
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent technical/manufacturing aptitude.
- 2+ years of plant manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of supplier quality experience.
- Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines.
- Experience leading multiple complex assignments with demanding timelines.
- Knowledge in interior, including seats, IP, consoles, headliners, and vehicle interior.
- Knowledge of problem‑solving tools.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Quality experience.
- Strong communication and team building skills.
