This role is focused on students receiving special education services and offers a schedule of 2425 hours per week, with a full-time option also available. ResponsibilitiesConduct psycho educational evaluations and re-evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate intervention plans. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide data-driven recommendations to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Ensure adherence to Michigan state and district guidelines.
QualificationsAn active Michigan School Psychologist license or certification and a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration are required. Prior experience working in school settings is preferred, enhancing the candidate’s effectiveness in meeting students’ diverse needs.
