Hygiene Assistant – Full-Time

Cambridge Dental Group | Dearborn Heights, MI

Cambridge Dental Group is a modern, fast-paced general dentistry practice located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team and help deliver exceptional patient care in a positive, team-focused environment.

As a Hygiene Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the hygiene department by ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and a comfortable patient experience.

• Seat patients and prepare them for hygiene appointments
• Review and update patient health histories
• Take diagnostic dental x-rays (must be proficient)
• Assist hygienists chairside as needed
• Turn over rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical area
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient care and communication

• Current dental assisting license - preferred
• Active x-ray certification – REQUIRED
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
• Willingness to learn and grow within the practice

• Digital x-rays

• Modern dental equipment and technology

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Saturdays: 2 Saturdays per month REQUIRED
  , 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Weekday off provided during the week when a Saturday is worked
