Responsibilities- Manage the timely and quality delivery of Supply Chain Sustainability KPI’s and initiatives.
- Coordinate and lead annual reporting for the Supply Chain Sustainability Team.
- Lead topics for Sustainability team including updates to Supplier Code of Conduct and Supplier Guide.
- Develop and implement overarching sustainability strategies for procurement of sustainable raw materials.
- Take global lead for the defined area of responsibility and develop and implement processes, compliance activities, purchasing standards and conditions in the supply base.
- Act as global contact for the defined area of responsibility and for all specific requests.
- Track, evaluate and interpret legal and internal requirements for the defined area of responsibility on a global scale.
- Identify potential risks and impacts on Ford Motor Company.
- Prepare global procedural instructions and training documents to ensure implementation of laws and internal requirements.
- Plan and implement measures to convey legal and internal requirements for the defined area of responsibility on a global level.
- Develop and implement training/information for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. purchasing team, suppliers).
- Engage with cross-functional teams to develop and support aligned strategies and work streams.
- Create and implement programs for the area of responsibility (e.g. environmental protection programs in the context of material procurement).
- Create and update internal process documentation and supplier policies annually.
- Determine content and organization of working groups on topics for the defined area of responsibility and participate in global working groups if necessary.
- Advice on implementation of processes and align goals with management for assigned Ford sites (global).
- Identify, assess, evaluate and prioritize risks (e.g., SAQ data).
- Develop preventive measures and risk mitigation measures in consultation with supervisors.
- Develop global procurement strategies and purchasing standards to prevent or minimize risks.
- Coordinate and implement control measures during assessments, such as compliance with human rights strategies at the supplier.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related.
- 5+ years in purchasing (indirect purchasing, strategy & planning, program purchasing).
- 2+ years data management experience and Excel skills.
- 2+ years working in a challenging business environment.
- Adept at learning and working with new technology platforms.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working on a global team.
- Experience with sustainability-related topics.

Salary grade: SG6-8.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
