Join us as a Leveraged Finance Deal Closing and Agency Servicing - Vice President at Barclays, To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
To be successful as a Leveraged Finance Deal Closing and Agency Servicing, you should have:
- Review internal credit memos and loan documentation to ensure the deals are supportable from an operational perspective
- Partner with the front office to facilitate smooth closing of deals and provide solutions on non-standard terms where applicable
- Support team to book transactions and manage ongoing activity for existing facilities including Loan level transactions (rollover, repayment, prepayment & application of interest / fee payments, extensions, margin and fee rate changes.
- Accountable for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation focused on driving transformation and digitisation agenda within the departments and for motivating and incentivising team to deliver world class service

This role will be based out of London.
Purpose of the roleTo support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities- Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
- Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
- Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
- To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures..
