The Role and Responsibilities

As an Automation and Controls Technician, your primary focus is on hands‑on technical work, troubleshooting, maintaining, and integrating mechanical, electrical, and control systems into a cohesive mechatronic system. You play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of advanced automation and robotics. This role demands a strong understanding of robotics, control systems, and mechanical systems, along with excellent practical problem‑solving and technical skills.

Technical Maintenance and Support: You perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on mechatronic systems, including mechanical components, electrical circuits, and control systems. This involves interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to ensure all systems are properly maintained and meet performance standards. Your focus on precision, troubleshooting, and technical acumen ensures equipment operates effectively and efficiently, minimizing downtime.

System Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques, you identifyすすめ and resolve malfunctions in mechatronic systems. By analyzing system performance and conducting routine inspections, you ensure any issues are promptly addressed. Your practical knowledge of engineering principles and mechanical systems is vital for ensuring the reliability of equipment and processes. Testing and Calibration: You execute testing protocols to validate and calibrate mechatronic systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to performance standards. Analyzing test data, you make necessary adjustments to improve system accuracy and reliability. Your hands‑on experience with tools and equipment, combined with your attention to detail, ensures all systems meet operational requirements.

Documentation and Safety Compliance: You maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This includes updating technical manuals, maintenance logs, and safety protocols. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

Collkörperbation and Communication: You work closely with engineers, operators, and other team members to optimize system performance and resolve technical challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively ensures smooth coordination across departments and supports the continuous improvement of processes and systems.

You’ve received your high school diploma and may hold an associate’s degree from an accredited institution or certification in mechatronics technology, electronics engineering technology, automation and control systems, mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance technology, or electrical technology, and you’ve spent at least three (3) years in a hands‑on mechatronic systems position, preferably with experience in robotics. You are proficient in electronic controls, software, and automation systems.

You will work with a high‑level of integrity, confidentiality, organization, and time management. You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

This position requires working 12‑hour shifts 5:30 pm to 5:30 am for the night shift, following a rotating schedule of three days on and four days off, alternating with four days on and three days off.
