Freight Broker Agent

This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Freight Broker Agent located in De Pere, Wisconsin (Remote will be considered). The Freight Broker Agent will manage customer accounts, coordinate with carriers, negotiate rates, and book freight for transportation. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients and carriers, and ensuring shipments are delivered on time and within budget. The agent will also collaborate with teams to streamline processes, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and achieve performance targets.

• Proficiency in freight brokerage tasks, such as account management, load booking, and carrier communication
• Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and problem resolution
• Experience with logistics operations, transportation management systems (TMS), and market rate analysis
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively
• Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Active book of business is a requirement. (Food Grade Shippers viewed as favorable)
