Design, develop, test, and deploy modern web applications and integrations using React, Node.js, and Express. Work on both customer-facing and internal manufacturing systems, taking ownership of projects from requirements analysis through production deployment. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into technical solutions in a fast-paced B2B manufacturing environment.

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Develop and maintain web applications using React frontend and Node.js/Express backend in our monorepo architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with SQL databases, REST APIs, and manufacturing systems.
• Take ownership of features and projects with minimal supervision, from initial analysis through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with business analysts on requirements and engage directly with stakeholders as needed for technical clarification.
• Analyze business workflows and translate them into technical solutions that solve real operational problems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team technical standards and documentation.
• Balance strategic project work with support tickets and urgent production issues in a highly reactive environment.
• Maintain and document existing applications while contributing to modernization efforts.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent professional experience (4+ years), and 3-7 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated project ownership.
• Strong proficiency with React for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Solid experience with Node.js and Express for building backend services and APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and ability to write efficient queries.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language.
• Ability to work independently and own projects from concept through deployment with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical business stakeholders.
