Toonen Consulting is proud to represent a fast‑growing real estate investment company (rental homes + renovation projects) seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its residential rental portfolio across Northeast Wisconsin.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and takes pride in solving problems quickly for residents and property owners. You will support a portfolio of commercial, single‑family homes, duplexes, mini‑storage units, and small multifamily units, handling day‑to‑day repairs, turnovers, and service requests. If you like working in the field, moving from property to property, and taking ownership of your work, this is an excellent long‑term opportunity with a stable and expanding team.

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across assigned properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and mechanical systems.
• Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Conduct property and unit inspections, identifying maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed.
• Support unit turns, renovations, and minor remodeling projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in a safe, organized manner.
• Document completed work, materials used, and time spent accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.

• Trade certifications or vocational training.
• Experience in property management, multifamily, or commercial environments.

• $25‑$30 per hour, based on experience.
• After‑hours emergency call compensated at 1.5× hourly rate.
