This isn’t just a purchasing role.

This is a front-facing, high-impact Senior Buyer position for someone who thrives on complexity, relationships, and momentum. You’ll be partnering closely with suppliers, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations to make sure Washworld has the right materials, at the right time, at the right cost, without sacrificing quality or trust.

What you’ll do:

• Own purchasing for key commodities and suppliers, end to end
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with vendors
• Lead pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract conversations
• Proactively manage supply risk, lead times, and capacity constraints
• Partner with Engineering on new products, changes, and BOM updates
• Balance inventory availability with cash flow and smart forecasting
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities without cutting corners
• Collaborate with Quality on supplier-related quality issues
• Mentor and support Buyers by sharing best practices and strategy
• Continuously look for better, smarter ways to do purchasing at scale

You’ll love this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field — or bring equivalent hands-on experience
• Are comfortable managing high-volume, high-complexity part environments
• Enjoy being front-facing and relationship-driven with suppliers
• Know how to negotiate, analyze, prioritize, and communicate clearly
• Like variety, ownership, and being relied on as a subject-matter expert
