This position will work 40 hours per week. LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for pre‑visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
• Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in‑office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

• Current clinical experience as a licensed practical nurse. Preferred.

• Knowledge of principles and skills needed to provide patient care.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to provide patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

• Proficient in the use of EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication.

• Valid Practical Nursing license issued by the state of WI upon hire required.
• CPR/Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification from approved program required.
