2nd Shift - Catcher​/Packers

Join our Finishing Department as a Catcher/Packer with Green Bay Packaging - Folding Carton!

As a Catcher/Packer in our Finishing Department, you are the final set of eyes on our product before it reaches the customer. This is a high-energy, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail ensures that every folding carton leaving our facility is perfect. If you take pride in precision and enjoy staying active, you'll thrive in our Finishing crew.

What You'll Do

• Perform real-time quality inspections, identifying and removing any defects to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
• Expertly pack finished cartons into corrugated cases according to specific job patterns and counts.
• Set up and monitor secondary equipment, including tapers, labelers, and ream cutters.
• Handle off-line packing projects and "rework" tasks to salvage and perfect product.
• Maintain a "tour-ready" workspace by following "clean as I go policy" and strict safety protocols.
• Maintain strict tool accountability and hygiene (GMP) standards to ensure our paperboard packaging remains uncontaminated and non-mixing!

What We're Looking For

• Someone who is safety-obsessed and doesn't let a single detail slip by.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure job specs are followed accurately.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems for data entry and job tracking.
• Previous manufacturing experience is great, but we are happy to train anyone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the trade.

Physical Requirements & Shift Details

Note: This is a physically demanding role that keeps you moving throughout your shift.

• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-12-hour shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting while keeping pace with the machine.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 30 lbs. repetitively.
• Availability: Must be willing to work 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on customer demand.
