Belmark is seeking an individual to join our team at our Flexible Packaging plant in De Pere, WI. We create many of the labels, cartons, pressure sensitive, and flexible film that consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will operate a coater at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.
Finish flexible packaging film from flexo presses and Web-To-Print press. Inspect printed and/or laminated film for accepted quality and complete the appropriate paperwork. Provide fast turnaround of orders to meet customer needs. May also be required to help in other departments. Come join our innovative, fun, and growing team today!
- 1st shift hours are from 6:00 P.M.
- 2:00 P.M., Monday - Friday
- $21 - $23 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
- Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
- Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
- Ensure product appearance.
- Set up and operate the coater. This includes webbing and clean-up.
- Mount plates as needed.
- Perform routine coating press maintenance.
- Move roll(s) to stage for next job(s).
- Inspect for and remove bad product.
- Identify product with accurate information.
- Complete the necessary paperwork.
- Keep work area and machine clean.
- May work in other departments and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
