Overall responsibilities include receiving, distribution, and shipping of products from inventory and WIP to internal customers as well as staging finished products to be packaged and shipped to Robinson’s external customers. The Coordinator implements and evaluates process changes and improvements that affect the handling, shipping, and receiving teams, which includes working with other departments to improve material move methods to both internal and external customers.

This position also directs members of the Shared Service Support staff to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

• Ensures safety is the #1 priority for the team and helps the team identify hazards and reports "Near Misses" to create a safe work environment.
• Uses forklift or other powered industrial equipment to move product & equipment.
• Communicates and works well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Demonstrates initiative and willingness to undertake increased responsibility.
• Exhibits ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manages time efficiently meeting objectives to complete projects.
• Demonstrates teamwork by working well with others, helping, positively providing, and receiving feedback.
• Assists management with hiring process and new team member training.
• Conducts supplemental "Toolbox Talks" to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.

• Answers team member questions, helps solve problems, and oversees work ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Counts, protects, packages, and processes products for shipments between different Robinson locations, vendors, and final customers while working with vendors and customers to facilitate.
• Identifies production priorities and facilitates their success in completing tasks.
• Coordinates material moves to and from work centers and ensures material needs are met throughout the facility.
• Continuously evaluates material flow practices between work centers and implement changes as needed.
• Takes ownership in the development of processes and procedures to increase material flow and on time delivery to internal and external customers.
• Works with Project Managers to ensure customers’ expectations are met and exceeded.
