Position Summary:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring Walmart stores run smoothly and efficiently. Working under the guidance of the local General Maintenance Manager, you will maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, and fixtures. You will follow established schedules, perform inspections, cleaning, and repairs, and respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.

$45,760.00/yr – $83,200.00/yr

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment).
• Utilize the work‑order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Vocational or technical certification and 1‑year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
