Embedded Software Engineer

Overview

An Embedded Software Engineer job in Daytona Beach, FL is currently available at Belcan to support the aerospace and defense industry. This is a full-time direct position with benefits.

To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar discipline, and 3 or more years of relevant experience. In this job, you will support development and coding of embedded software in various programming languages, such as C, C++, C#, Python, Ada, etc. Active secret clearance is required!

• Use your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, certify and improve cutting‑edge software products.
• Perform coding, debugging, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout the development process.
• Develop software documentation.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Proficient in software configuration management tools (Git, SVN, etc).
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to apply software engineering skills with little to no mentoring or training.
• US Citizenship only.
• Security Clearance:
  Active Secret.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position offers a salary rate of $104,000 to $150,000; however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
