Sales Representative (Miami) – McGraw Hill

Join the McGraw Hill Higher Education Sales team as a Sales Representative supporting a territory of universities and colleges in the Miami area. Reporting to a District Sales Manager in our Higher Education Sales Organization, you will drive digital product sales by connecting with faculty and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage McGraw Hill’s existing customer base to grow digital users and increase market share in new course areas.
  • Seek out and engage prospective customers in discovery sessions and introductory presentations of customized learning solutions.
  • Reach or exceed established sales goals for the assigned territory and partner with internal support teams to drive revenue.
  • Build strong relationships with faculty and administrators, becoming their trusted advisor for higher education course solutions and continuously identifying new partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with college bookstores/business offices to ensure delivery of content and understand campus initiatives.
  • Ensure effective implementation and proper use of McGraw Hill technologies, including delivering sales presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Use a CRM system to develop and maintain territory pipeline from prospect to close.
  • Effectively manage business and sampling budget, working with sales leadership on sales strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car within the territory.
  • Evidence of being a high achiever with a track record of success.
  • Competitive spirit and passion to succeed.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • Capacity to think outside the box and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, and time management skills.

As this position requires traveling by car, a valid driver’s license is required. Pay range: $62,000 – $85,000 annually, plus an annual sales incentive plan and a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
