About Bio Life Plasma ServicesEvery day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicine. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.
About the roleYou will determine donor eligibility and manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. The role follows guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs and provides center‑level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS). You will operate under guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and the Center Physician for medical issues, and be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry.
Howyou will contribute
- Determine donor eligibility: informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of Center Physician’s standing orders and transport to emergency care.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues, and donor safety and eligibility.
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees when applicable.
- Manage employee incidents and determine required evaluation by occupational health/ER.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats within the local community.
- High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate status of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Current state licensure or certification (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Completion of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation and BenefitsLocation: USA – FL – Daytona Beach
U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $22.69 – $31.20
The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position and may vary based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. Pay will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements.
U.S. employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year, and, for new hires, up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
