What You’ll Do
- Own the sales floor: Set daily goals, manage traffic, and ensure a consistent, guest first process from greeting to delivery.
- Coach to excellence: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor sales consultants; run huddles, oneonones, and skill clinics that move the needle.
- Drive results: Build monthly strategies to hit volume, gross, finance penetration, product attach, and CSI targets.
- Lead the deal: Work deals, structure finance options, and remove roadblocks so your team wins.
- Operate the numbers: Forecast, report, and action plan using KPIs; partner with internet, BDC, and service teams to maximize opportunities.
- Champion the experience: Ensure every guest receives a transparent, efficient, and memorable buying journey, online and instore.
What You Bring
- Automotive sales leadership experience with a track record of top performance (store or team level).
- High energy, positive attitude, and presence

; you lead from the front. - Strong command of digital retailing tools (CRM, desking, appraisal, F&I menus) and modern sales processes.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision making skills.

What Success Looks Like (First 90–180 Days)
- Lift close rate, front/back gross, and product penetration through daily coaching and process discipline.
- Reduce cycle times and increase appointment show rates via CRM hygiene and tight followup.
- Improve CSI by standardizing touchpoints and handoffs across sales, finance, and delivery.

- Train and support sales staff on phone and internet skills; assist in closing deals.
- Manage the dealership’s CRM system, implementing efficient processes and workflows.
- Desk deals, prepare quotes, and communicate with customers via email.
- Oversee online inventory and manage incentive programs.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors (Auto Trader, ) to boost lead generation.
- Maintain strong vendor and manufacturer relationships at both local and national levels.
- Attend sales manager meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Follow up on all internet leads promptly with calls and emails.
- Ensure compliance with pre‑employment screenings (background and drug tests).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high‑performing teams.
- Solid computer proficiency, including DMS & CRM systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Successful experience in financial and budgeting responsibilities.
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in your state of residence.
