Our client is a well-established and highly respected law firm with locations in Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and DeLand, FL. They specialize in all aspects of personal injury and employment law. This exceptional award-winning team has been practicing for more than 3 decades, and their client base continues to growth regularly.
Currently, they are looking to bring on board another Paralegal with experience working on personal injury cases and this role will be based out of their office in Daytona Beach.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates, scheduling, and other inquiries while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- Ensure compliance with tribal law regulations where applicable.
- Organize and maintain the law office's filing system, ensuring all documents are properly indexed and accessible.
- Must have Personal Injury experience
- 2+ years as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role.
- Familiarity with personal injury law (2+ years of experience is required).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
