This position will serve as Staff Attorney to all the Judges as well as the Director of Central Staff.

• Graduation from an accredited law school and Florida Bar membership.
• Senior level: at least two years’ experience in the practice of law, $6,543.32 monthly.
• Career level:
  
  at least five years’ experience in the practice of law, $7,360.34 monthly.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team of eight attorneys.
• Ability to maintain a large caseload and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of legal principles, statutory and case law, court rules and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of legal publications and ability to use them effectively.
• Logical and analytical reasoning, ability to grasp complex issues and complicated factual matters.
• Attention to detail and ability to digest and communicate ideas orally and in writing.
• Discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling matters before the court.
• Effective collaboration with judges and court staff.
• Criminal post‑conviction experience is a plus.
