Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected Fortune 1000 organization seeking a Workday Integration Engineer to support, enhance, and optimize Workday integrations across the enterprise. This individual will design, build, test, and maintain scalable integrations between Workday and internal/external systems, leveraging Workday best practices and platform tools. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to deliver reliable, high-quality integration solutions.
Qualifications- A Bachelors degree and relevant Workday Certifications are highly preferred.
- 3–7 years of hands‑on experience designing and building Workday integrations.
- Workday Studio
- Core Connectors (especially PECI, PICOF, PATT, etc.)
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Workday Web Services (REST & SOAP APIs)
- Experience integrating Workday with systems such as HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, ATS, ERP, CRM, and timekeeping platforms.
- Solid understanding of Workday business processes, data structures, and security.
- Experience with XSLT, XML, JSON, and data transformation logic.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across integrations, data sets, and security layers.
- Experience using ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now) for managing incidents, requests, SLAs, and changes.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- A growth mindset and passion for continuous learning, especially around new Workday features.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PECI, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Serve as a technical expert for all Workday-to-enterprise system integrations, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to understand requirements and translate them into scalable integration designs.
- Support ongoing enhancements, system releases, regression testing, and troubleshooting of integration and data‑related issues.
- Maintain and optimize existing integrations, ensuring performance, data integrity, and long‑term maintainability.
- Advise business partners on Workday best practices and technical possibilities during requirements gathering.
- Monitor and manage integration workloads and incidents using ITSM tools such as Service Now.
- Ensure integrations adhere to auditing requirements, security controls, and segregation‑of‑duty standards.
- Participate in Workday biannual release reviews, assisting in impact analysis and rollout planning.
- Collaborate with technical teammates and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data mapping, and runbooks.
- Provide support during M&A activities, including data conversions, new entity loads, and integration onboarding.
