Job Description

• Practices principles of employee and patient safety during daily job activities.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
• Implements individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations and considerations of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Modifies treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments in consultation with a physical therapist.
• Collects patient data and communicates with the physical therapists regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.
• Documents patient care accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department/hospital policies.

Qualification Requirements

• Associate degree (required).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS).
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Accredited qualification issued by EV.

Pay Range $21.56 – $40.09 per hour
