• Demonstrates clinical competence in sterile processing and maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements educational programs based on identified needs, including competency skills fairs, orientation classes, in‑services, and continuing education programs.
• Analyzes educational materials for best practices and evidence‑based practices, and participates in research activities to improve professional development.
• Leads the development of evidence‑based protocols and supports the safe practice of sterile processing by reviewing and revising policies and procedures.
• Assists in managing and teaching the instrument tracking module and other IT modules as applicable.

High School Grad or Equiv (Required)

Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
