Part-time Caregiver - Daytona

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve independence and live their best life.

We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a 28‑year‑old young man who enjoys being out in the community. He’s looking for someone to provide companionship and community outings. If you’re dependable, warm and have thoughtful, quality care skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Independent contract position – $15.25 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday flexible schedule

• Positive outlook and contagious energy
• Patience and compassion
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities
• Support with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
• Ensure individual’s safety and maintain a safe living environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes
