Part-time Caregiver- Daytona

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate caregiver to support a 35-year-old woman who values her independence and enjoys being out in the community. She’s looking for someone to provide companionship, help with running errands, go grocery shopping and join her on community outings. Light housekeeping is also part of the job, just to help keep her home clean and comfortable.

If you're someone who is dependable, has a warm personality, this could be a great fit. Reliable transportation is important, as you'll be accompanying her out and about. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour

Schedule: Mon
- Thurs from 3pm - 7pm

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy
• Demonstrate patience and compassion

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Supporting with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
