Top Build is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our hybrid cloud environment, balancing cloud capabilities with on‑premises infrastructure. This role will focus on delivering secure, efficient, and scalable architectures in Oracle Cloud, while ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems. The Senior Cloud Engineer will provide both technical leadership and strategic insight, driving adoption of best practices, establishing governance frameworks, and enabling modern capabilities such as automation, Dev Ops, and containerization.

This individual will act as a trusted advisor within the IT Infrastructure team, partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives while also delivering hands‑on engineering expertise and mentoring junior staff.

Design and lead implementation of secure, scalable hybrid cloud architectures leveraging Oracle Cloud and on‑premises systems.

Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance frameworks across cloud and hybrid environments.

Define strategies for hybrid adoption, ensuring workloads are deployed in the right environment based on business and technical requirements.

Research emerging technologies and recommend adoption to improve agility, efficiency, and security.

Serve as a subject matter expert in strategic committees and advise leadership on cloud direction.

Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to align hybrid‑cloud strategies with organizational goals.

Lead deployment of hybrid workloads and ensure secure integration with on‑premises systems.

Implement cloud services using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

Provide technical leadership in migrations and modernizations, balancing innovation with operational stability.

Guide adoption of container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and Dev Ops practices as the organization evolves.

Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate cloud and infrastructure solutions.
