Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi‑specialty staff model HMO, is seeking a full‑time Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Psychiatrist to join our Daytona Beach facility. The outpatient behavioral health department focuses on mental health and substance abuse. The facility offers behavioral health, cardiology, diabetes education, endocrinology, extended hour care center, neurology, ophthalmology, pain management, primary care, rheumatology, sports medicine, X‑ray, lab, and pharmacy onsite.
Responsibilities- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy.
- Work within a team‑based approach, collaborating with tenured psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, crisis intervention team, intensive outreach program, and addiction services, including the Suboxone clinic.
- MD/DO degree
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible
- Current Florida license
