The Daytona Beach facility offers a broad range of services under one roof — including Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pain Management, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Imaging, Lab, and Pharmacy — fostering seamless coordination and comprehensive care for all patients.

Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its thriving outpatient behavioral health department in Daytona Beach, FL
.

This full-time opportunity features flexible office hours, no inpatient responsibilities, and limited phone-only call coverage
. The department provides a balanced mix of general psychiatry and substance use treatment, supported by a highly experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Essential Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for adult patients.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team that includes Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, and crisis intervention specialists.
  • Participate in the management of substance use disorders and support addiction treatment programs, including Suboxone therapy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Engage in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives.
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; active Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience: Outpatient or behavioral health experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
