General Function
The Associate Optometrist leads in delivering the brand promise, experience, and organization’s key results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all patients receive high-quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols while maximizing results and growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. Serves as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards to go above and beyond.
Major
Duties & Responsibilities Ensure executional excellence and positive results in partnership with the MOD and store team.Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through KPI management and accountability.Promote the brand as a leading optical provider within the community.Act as a successful stakeholder with all organizational leaders and local market.Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.Strive to exceed all KPI expectations.Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, and utilizing visual aids to ensure patient understanding.Conduct services according to protocols and standards of care.Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for all patients.Build positive doctor-patient relationships.Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.Maintain office systems and state licensure, fulfilling continuing education requirements.Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.Deliver motivating and constructive feedback timely.Create a positive workplace culture aligned with corporate values.Encourage decision-making at the level closest to the patient.Foster partnerships through leadership and participation.Maintain a professional and clean office appearance.Ensure a safe working environment for all.Lead by example.Basic Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry degree.Commitment to quality patient care.Knowledge of current optometric theories and technology.Strong communication and listening skills.Problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational skills.Employee pay depends on various factors including location, experience, and qualifications.
