Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and was awarded the Sports Business Journal’s prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race” – the DAYTONA 500. Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention – as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing."

Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.

Daytona International Speedway is seeking a Part‑Time Associate, Special Events who is skilled in the private events and hospitality industry. This position will assist with and own private/special events at Daytona International Speedway. This person must be extremely detailed oriented with a strong willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Assist Special Events Manager with all aspects of Private & Special events including:
  • Contract Creation
  • Room Layouts
  • Design Set‑Up
  • Vendor Management
  • Catering + BEOs
• Plan, run, and attend Private/Special Events at Daytona International Speedway upholding the highest level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Build and distribute Special Event Memo’s to internal staff for Special Events
• Collaborate with the Manager on daily priorities and focus with customers
• Ensure a positive experience for our clients and their guests
• Ability to work closely with other internal teams at Daytona International Speedway (i.e. Leadership, Venue Operations, Infield Operations, Security, Event Hospitality, Partnership Services, Guest Services, Marketing, Accounting etc.)
• Other duties as assigned by the Special Events Team or Track President

• Current Student enrolled in a Hospitality management Program or recent graduate with a degree in Hospitality/Event Management
• 0-1 years experience working and planning Private Events (sports curriculum/industry a plus)
• Role is Part Time (In Office + Events):
  February – August 2026
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with personnel at all levels
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in real‑time
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
• Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and Database Management
