This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Superintendent located in Daytona Beach, FL. The Field Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within schedule. Responsibilities include managing construction teams, supervising subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining project quality. Coordination with clients, engineers, and project managers will also be an integral part of the job to guarantee seamless project execution.
Qualifications- Project Management and team leadership, with strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in structural steel construction and knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and familiarity with construction scheduling techniques
- Hands-on experience with managing subcontractors and ensuring quality standards
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve on-site challenges promptly
- Proficiency in relevant software for project tracking and reporting
- Background in construction management, structural steel, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed
