A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services at an elementary school in Dayton, TX. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language therapy to students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade, supporting their communication development and academic success. The position is ideal for an SLP with experience working in school settings and a passion for fostering early childhood communication skills.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-2 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student outcomes
- Deliver therapy sessions in an engaging and supportive onsite environment
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Texas
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children and educational teams
