Job Summary
The Project Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to project management and engineering teams by assisting with scheduling, documentation, communication tracking, and deliverable coordination. The Project Coordinator supports safe project execution and helps ensure documentation and communication requirements are met.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Supports project teams by preparing, maintaining, and updating project schedules, plans, logs, reports, and other documents as directed by management.
- Assists with compiling project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status updates for internal teams and customers.
- Coordinates communication between internal teams, vendors, and customers by tracking requests, follow‑ups, and deliverables.
- Assists managers with administrative tasks related to project execution, including document control and recordkeeping.
- Helps ensure project documentation aligns with company procedures, client requirements, and safety guidelines.
- May accompany managers or technical staff to customer or vendor locations to observe work, collect documentation, or support coordination efforts.
- Supports safety initiatives by following established safety procedures and assisting with documentation related to safety requirements.
- Performs other coordination and support tasks as assigned by management.
- Basic understanding of project life cycles and coordination processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions, procedures, and established processes.
- Familiarity with an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn additional systems as required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, administrative support, or project coordination.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
