Warehouse Worker - 1st shift - $22 to $24 an hour
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Worker is to manage inbound and outbound materials, ensure timely shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, tracking shipments using the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system, and managing logistical movements and daily shipments, including international shipment documentation, hazardous material paperwork, and bills of lading.
Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks.
- Track shipments using the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system.
- Manage logistical movements and daily shipments, including international shipment documentation, hazardous material paperwork, and bills of lading.
- Move freight, stock, and materials using carts, forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Pull, stage, and track raw materials for daily production using the EWM system.
- Complete staging in SAP.
- Generate identifying tags for containers and mark incoming and outgoing materials.
- Perform waste management duties.
- Update the EWM system regularly to reflect inventory levels.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse facility.
- 2+ years of experience with forklifts, carts, or hand trucks.
- 2+ years of experience utilizing the SAP system.
- 2+ years of experience performing shipping and receiving duties.
- 2+ years of experience performing data entry on a tablet or computer.
- 2+ years of experience performing documentation on paper and digitally, including international shipping and logistics.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
