Come join a growing team and affordable midwestern city. 2 NEWS is searching for a part-time “Live Drive 2” operator who will operate a live-capable station vehicle for news, weather, and traffic coverage. The candidate must be a strong communicator and comfortable driving a vehicle for several hours at a time. Candidate must be flexible to work any shift – including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Primary Duties &

Responsibilities Include:

* Operate a live-capable vehicle, “Live Drive 2,” during morning newscasts for traffic, weather, and news coverage
* May be asked to contribute voiced live reports during newscasts
* May be asked to shoot still photos or video on an as-needed basis
* May be asked to drive a live reporter during extreme weather situations
* Other duties as assigned

Key traits & competencies:
* Fluency in English
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Clean driving record
* Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including cars, SUVs, vans, or ENG trucks
