Roadside Assistance Tow Technicians
AAA Club Alliance is hiring Roadside Assistance Truck Technicians to join our Roadside Assistance team in Dayton, OH. Rain or shine, snow or ice, our drivers help our members when they need us most, whether it’s changing a flat tire, jump‑starting a car battery or towing a vehicle.
We Offer Our Associates- Competitive pay starting at $22/Hour
- Full‑time 1st Shift (includes weekends); 2nd Shift includes a 10% shift differential

- Provide lock‑out, fuel delivery, battery jump‑starts, tire changes and towing services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
- Conduct tow and recovery services following company protocols.
- Serve as a Battery Technician, performing emergency mechanical assistance, installing and testing batteries.
- Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and ensure their safety.
- Make sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and accommodate member needs.
- Enter call information accurately into in‑truck technology, process payments, handle cash and complete required reports.
- Perform vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring safe operating condition and compliance with all requirements; secure fleet vehicle and equipment at all times.
- Participate in special events (parades, television, radio and social media) to promote the brand as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of residence, with all state and local licensing requirements maintained.
- Ability to pass a physical examination as required by Department of Transportation and/or company policy.
- 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or a minimum of 3 years in a sales and/or customer service role (preferred).
- Able to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds and use hand tools to provide service.
- Successful pre‑ and post‑employment screening results (criminal, drug and motor vehicle).
- Experience operating passenger vehicles and light‑medium duty trucks (both manual and automatic transmissions) primarily from a service vehicle.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including use of GPS and other assigned technology.
- Complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire, and additional future training as required.
