Job SummaryProvide transportation to participants within Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley service areas. Provide assistance as directed within program areas and develop routes.
ScheduleSplit shift: morning and afternoon hours Monday – Friday. No weekends required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Transport participants to and from program services and job sites in agency vehicle.
- Provide door‑to‑door assistance and maintain safety (seat belts, wheelchairs secured, vehicle clean).
- Review and follow individual service plans; observe for abuse, neglect, disease, and report concerns.
- Submit incident reports to Program Coordinator or Immediate Supervisor and, if required, to funders.
- Record daily mileage, drop‑off and pick‑up times, and attendance; submit routing and billing documentation.
- Maintain efficient routes, schedules, and communicate changes.
- Conduct daily and monthly vehicle inspections; report needed repairs.
- Manage refueling, oil, and fluid checks daily.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and other assigned meetings.
- Provide courteous and professional service; adhere to Ohio Safety Laws.
- Complete training on transferring and lifting target population; emergency procedures.
- Maintain valid driver’s license with 4 points or less.
- Follow route schedule; no unauthorized stops.
- Travel to assist other agency programs as required.
- Maintain all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards (CARF, Department of Labor, etc.).

Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED.
Experience RequirementsAt least 1 year transporting the target population.
QualificationsMust be 21 years or older, pass FBI Background Check, meet random drug screening and criminal background check. Must maintain a valid driver’s license acceptable to the employer’s liability insurer. Must be willing to drive wheelchair‑accessible van, minibus or transit vehicle for up to 12 passengers.
