Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
  • Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
  • Designing, implementing, and integrating software applications or performing software engineering tasks.
  • Utilizing software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and production environment.
  • Ensuring efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
  • Mitigating risks, controlling costs, and schedule variance and effectively managing large‑scale, integrated software projects.
  • Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results.
  • Participating in Dev Sec Ops  processes and practicing principles during all design phases.
  • Participating in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
  • Analyzing current in‑use technology utilized and developing steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
Required Skills

Must Have:

  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2 (Sec+).
  • Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA Dev Sec Ops  process.
  • Experience with Angular JS and/or NODE.
  • PhD and 6 years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 8 years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and 14 years of experience.
  • Ability to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
  • Strong risk management skills and excellent communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills.
Desired Skills

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and four years of comparable work experience.
  • Ten or more years of program/application operations experience.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Python coding experience.
