Summary

Responsible for supporting program initiative and Club Manager with overseeing program curriculum, daily routine, activities, and functions of the A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative.

  • Support Club Manager in supervising club with efficiency and effectiveness to support the direction consistent with the Agency’s strategic plan.
  • Responsible for supporting Club Manager with establishing and maintaining program curriculum.
  • Attends meetings, trainings as requested by program directors.
  • Develop positive rapport with members, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Responsible for providing program metrics to program directors, as needed.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance standards are maintained.
  • Keep all necessary records, monthly/weekly reports, incident reports updated and accurate as required by policy.
  • Provide direct care supervision of youth during all aspects of the daily routine, monitor school attendance and progress, assist with homework/tutoring.
  • Assumes responsibility of maintaining site in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Cooperates with other staff members in achieving goals and treatment philosophies of A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative.
  • Prepares meals as directed and assists in teaching youth in proper food preparation.
  • Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work, Mental Health, Criminal Justice, or related field is preferred. Experience in lieu of education requirements will be considered.

Experience Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience working directly with youth and young adults strongly preferred.
  • Having a strong understanding of mental health conditions, trauma, and/or substance use, and empathy for individuals within the community is recommended.
  • Experience working with community groups and coordinating fundraising activities are a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including recruiting, performance management and conflict resolution are essential.

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to GESMV’s liability insurance provider.

  • Demonstrated team leadership skills, including recruiting, performance management and conflict resolution, are essential.
  • Ability to document, record information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule with evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to effectively work with people with serious and persistent mental health concerns.
  • Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision as well as have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
  • Must be able to follow through with projects and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to deal with daily operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
