HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer

In this role, you’ll handle system diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance, while educating homeowners and offering solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Make light HVAC repairs when needed or recommend replacements.
- Perform routine HVAC maintenance to prevent future issues and improve efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners
, explaining any issues and providing service options in a professional, friendly way. - Keep detailed notes on recommendations, service visit details, and parts usage logs.
- Follow all safety protocols including local and state HVAC codes.
- 3-5+ years of HVAC experience (residential preferred).
- Completed HVAC training program, EPA license preferred.
- Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and customer service.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
