Experienced Pipe fitters Needed - Dayton, OH | $34-$36 + $120 Per Diem

United Trades of America is now hiring experienced Pipe fitters for an industrial project located in Dayton, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident in their skills, especially when it comes to operating and setting up a thread machine. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented tradespeople who don’t need direction when it comes to the basics – if you know your way around a threader and can square and level with precision, we want to hear from you.

• Set up and operate a thread machine with no instruction or guidance.
• Cut, thread, and install pipe to required specifications using tools such as saws, pipe threaders, benders, and hand tools.
• Square and level pipe installations for alignment and accuracy.
• Interpret drawings and follow project specifications for layout and installation.
• Participate in a basic on-site fitter test before assignment.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.

There is no welding involved on this project.

This is not a training position – candidates must already have the skill set required to start work with minimal oversight.

• Minimum 3-5 years of pipe fitting experience, specifically with threading operations.
• Proficient in squaring, leveling, and reading basic drawings or blueprints.
• Strong understanding of pipe systems and installation standards.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without requiring step‑by‑step instruction.
• Must be able to pass a basic fitter test on‑site.
• Must have reliable transportation and be ready to work.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

Pay Rate: $34.00 – $36.00 per hour (based on experience)

Per Diem: $120.00 per day worked
