SUMMARY
Chapel Electric is looking for an Industrial Electrician with an ISA Instrumentation Certification. This position pays $37.25 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
* Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
* Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
* Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
* Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc.
* Assists in keeping building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
* Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes. Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
* Attend Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
* Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
* Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position.
* High School diploma or GED required.
* Previous electrical experience required.
* ISA Instrumentation Certification required.
* Valid Driver's License.

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.
